Immigration Lawyer with 20+ Years of Experience

Amanda received her B.A. from Stanford University in 1988, double major in International Relations and Spanish Literature, and her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1993. 

After spending several years as a federal labor lawyer with the National Labor Relations Board in New York City, Newark N.J., and San Francisco, in 2006 Amanda began working as an immigration lawyer in San Mateo, CA.  Her practice focused on representing Spanish-speaking clients in removal proceedings.

Before opening her own practice, Amanda worked as an Immigration Attorney in the Immigration Department of La Raza Centro Legal-San Francisco (LRCL-SF). While there, her practice consisted of cases including Naturalization, Family Immigrant Visas and Consular Processing, DACA, Asylum/Removal Defense, and U and T Visas. Amanda was honored as a “Pro Bono VIP” by the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Amanda is Chapter Chair-Emerita of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Santa Clara Valley.
